The majority of our pieces are handcrafted from solid Indonesian teak - a wood long
valued by artisans and shipbuilders alike for its natural resilience. Sourced with care
and shaped by hand, each piece carries the character of where it began.

Why Teak?

Naturally Weather-Resistant Teak's high natural oil content helps it resist
moisture, making it a traditional choice for outdoor furniture and even shipbuilding for centuries.

Built to Last Dense and naturally durable, teak is known to hold up well over years
of daily use with minimal maintenance.

Naturally Resistant to Insects The same natural oils that protect teak from
water also make it less appealing to insects, without the need for chemical treatment.

A Grain That Deepens With Time Left untreated, teak gradually develops a soft
silver-grey patina outdoors. With occasional oiling, it keeps its warm golden-brown tone indoors.
